Reuben Margolin

Reuben Margolin

Reuben Margolin demonstrates some of his kineticĀ sculptures while talking about the influences of maths and the road from writing to painting and then on to installations.

For those familiar with the TED lectures, this video, part of the PopTech series, follows the same 18 minute format.

So it’s a bit longer than the usual 5 minute videos on this site, but hey it’s the weekend and it’s worth watching all the way through especially for his later sculptures and the part where he recounts studying painting in Italy and Russia.

It’s HD as well, so put it on full screen and sit back and enjoy.
