Gordon Hopkins – oil and epoxy technique

Brussels based American, Gordon Hopkins talks about using oil bars as his primary material while he prepares for this weekend’s Brussels Accessible Art Fair.

As well as his large scale pattern based paintings, he shows us some new modular techniques he is developing, painting on to smaller wood blocks, coating them with an epoxy layer and then clamping the smaller works together with bulldog clips to create a larger whole.
